In July Baz Hartnell was selected as an Executive Coach to join a hand-picked cohort of coaches in the new Senior Civil Service Coaching Register. This register was set up as part of the wider Civil Service Learning (CSL) programme, one of the Government’s new HR hubs set up to simplify HR and reduce costs. The register will allow senior civil servants to access executive coaching to aid in developing their leadership capacity during what continues to be a very difficult period across the Civil Service.
Baz stated, “In the past I have particularly enjoyed working with senior civil servants, given some of the significant and complex leadership challenges they face in transforming their organisations, departments and services. I also feel that my work as a coach in organisations where there is a strong public service culture also satisfies a personal service ethos in me”
